Color consulting locations in the last five years have been in Virginia, Georgia, Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware and New Hampshire. Projects have included lake houses in New York and Georgia, a beach home in Delaware, a school bus depot, a high-rise condo, and a lawyers office. In Pennsylvania, an advertising agency won a community award for its design and color choices. There have also been many houses, including fully restored homes in Georgia and Virginia.
Having chosen the colors of the paint and wallpaper for almost every job I have undertaken as a contractor, I have gained a wide range of experience. Clients have chosen me to be involved in choosing many other aspects of interior/exterior design and color coordination, including flooring and fabrics. Translating print or wallpaper samples into reality for people is a speciality.
Traveling widely and living in England, France, and Canada, as well as the United States has given me an abundance of design influences. Artistic influences include the artist Gustav Klimt and sculptor Andy Goldworthy, as well as several authors—Harold Kueppers' "The Basic Law of Color Theory", and Faber Birren's "Color Psychology" and "Color Therapy."
